The Project
Designed by SP&Architects and constructed by Wharton Construction Ltd, the store’s mixture of new build and refurbishment won Best commercial building/scheme in the North & East Yorkshire region at the Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Building Excellence Awards 2016.
Nigel Peacock explained that the excellent aesthetic of our balustrade contributed significantly to the urban industrial-themed interior design. The development has now been forwarded as a finalist in the LABC’s national awards which are taking place in November.
The Product
Our stainless steel quad stanchions were specified with tubular top rails and toughened glass infills to provide a contemporary solution on an internal stairway and mezzanine floor.
Our stainless-steel balustrade is the perfect choice for high-end aesthetics, combining the natural sheen and material quality of stainless steel with precision-engineered detail for the highest specification. Its clean, sharp intersection lines are created by true unidirectional polishing.
